I've been trying to find the answer to this, and can't. It's not a big deal
but I'd still like to know and fix it.

When I use Automate> BATCH the actions (that drops down) that are saved has
about 30 or more SAVE commands on it. At one time I must have forgotten to
stop record, and kept saving and it recorded it as an action. How do I get
this out? Same idea, how do I delete actions I no longer want or use? Ones
that I have set up at some time.

I've tried right clicking on them in the pallets and DELETE and in the
list, and even looking in Program Files in ADOBE> Photoshop CS2 which I am
using. I can't find anything with saved actions, in order to take them out,
delete them from the list.

I have an idea it's something very simple, so simple there isn't any
need for directions for this. LOL

Thanks!
Carrie

Carrie,

By default your actions were probably saved to the following folder:

C:\Documents and Settings\"User Name"\Application Data\Adobe\Adobe
Photoshop\Presets\Actions

You can go there to delete them. But the easier way:

Open the actions Pallet.
At the top right of the pallet click the tiny arrow that points
down.
Select "Load Actions".
You should see the action you want to delete. Right Click it and
select "delete".

I had looked around in Program Files (Adobe) and couldn't fine it. Also,
tried to delete them with PS open.
I think the problem is (or was) I was thinking of the SAVE as actions and
maybe it was a command? I ended up reinstalling PS CS2 and that seems to
have solved it. Also a few other minor quirks.
Thanks for taking the time to read this and answer.
I'm continually finding new things in PS, that it does, that I didn't even
know it did/could do! It's like they say "we only use 1/10th of our brains"
(though someone would still have to use 100% in order to know THIS) I think
I might know maybe 1/4 of what PS does.
Not enough time in the day or night...
